Our Story
At Sinful Beauty, we believe beauty is more than just a service — it’s a craft, a passion, and in our case, a family affair.
I’m Teresa Calderon Rouse, owner and master lash artist behind Sinful Beauty. In 2016, I made a bold career shift from the medical field to pursue my passion in Esthetics at Penrose Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona. Though skincare was the initial plan, I found my true calling in lash extensions. By January 2017, I dove headfirst into the lash industry and opened my first lash studio that same year. I hold dual certifications with Borboleta, a highly regarded lash supplier known for their top-tier products and advanced education. Now based in Colorado, I proudly hold esthetician licenses in both Arizona and Colorado, offering a premium lash experience that focuses on enhancing your natural beauty while keeping your natural lashes healthy and thriving. My specialty? C curl lash extensions — the perfect balance of soft, natural fullness with a little extra wow.
Joining me in this journey is my daughter-in-law, Mercedes Rouse, hairstylist extraordinaire. Beauty runs in her blood, inspired by her beautician grandmother and fueled by her own creative spirit. After moving to Arizona, getting married, and navigating life during the pandemic, Mercedes found her true passion for hair while working as a caregiver, helping her clients feel beautiful and seen. She honed her skills at Avalon Institute in Mesa and quickly rose through the ranks at Supercuts — from stylist to manager to technical trainer — all within her first year. But her true magic lies in how she connects with people. To Mercedes, clients are family. She’s known for her vibrant personality, artistic touch, and dedication to constantly learning and evolving in her craft.
